The Doctrine of the Lord’s Day

We believe this age of Grace, the Lord’s day, which is the first day of the week, the day of our Lord’s resurrection, is the proper day for Christian worship; and that it ought to be kept as sacred as possible for spiritual purposes, by avoiding all unnecessary secular labour and other activities unbecoming to such a day, without becoming legalistic.
